I will sleep much better tonight. I noticed a crack in my foundation and called Bay Area Underpinning. Hunter came out and walked the entire property and went underneath my house. He identified one other issue that I knew about besides the crack and told me they could fix that too. I had no idea you can call structural engineers for chimneys. His quote was fair to me and you can't beat the warranty and financing. Today Jesus Villagomes and Erick Baez came out and fixed the crack, they also looked around underneath and reassured me AGAIN that my house was in good shape. Because I caught it early they were able to fill the crack and then add a carbon fiber exposy seal. They also sealed the crack from the outside, even though they had already filled it in under the house. They were professional, answered all my questions, no matter how many and honestly were just pleasant to work with. They also explained my maintenance plan so I knew what to expect. I would absolutely recommend this entire team, to stay professionally kind in high heat is amazing. The Chimney job is pending and again, I'm ahead of the curve and not waiting for it to get worse.

We just bought a house and literally every single metal pier in the crawlspace was rusted out. Bay Are Underpinning came in and did an awesome job. Their inspector Aaron was super thorough in assessing the damage and explained everything in detail. Then, the repair crew of Eric, Jesus, and Andrew came in and knocked out the entire job in a day — a huge relief considering we had a ton of other work we need to get done before moving in. The work is not cheap, but they offer financing options and stand by their work, so I feel very good about the entire job.

1. Call Center ***** – they took the call after 6:00 PM and were extremely professional. Guy on the phone (sorry I didn't write is name down), was so kind and emailed confirmation immediately. 2. Pre-Visit Confirmation ***** – Email, text and phone calls to confirm the time and prep me for the visit. Incredible. Nobody is doing this right these days and BAU absolutely has it nailed down. 3. Estimator ***** – I wish I could offer more than 5 stars. Joe Le Bel is the most professional tradesman I've met in a long time. Others are good too, but Joe is the gold standard. He sat with me to ask what I was concerned about and what was important to my family. Who does that???? Oh yeah, Joe did. So comforting. Joe was professional and respectful of our space. Was careful to be conscientious about where he placed his gear, tools and instruments. Super clean going under the house without tracking dirt and debris back into the house. (The inspectors from HomeGuard could definitely take notes on this!) Then, once Joe finished, he sat down with us and talked us through all the different aspects off his inspection. What an extremely positive interaction. I would 100% recommend BAU and Joe. Can't get any better than this. Thanks BAU for a great culture of excellence.
