From my initial consultation with Rick DeSoto to the work performed by foreman Raul, and his team Jonathan and Demareon, this was the best possible experience in working Bay Area Underpinning for the first time. The crew was professional and adjusted the leveling jacks (and even added a couple as was needed) with care and great attention. Pricing was very reasonable too. I'll never trust any other company to do this type of work at my home. 100% satisfied with the work and my interactions with the crew. A+ work performed = A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

Bay Area Underpinning came in recently and re-leveled all of the screw jacks in my floor both leveling the floor and getting rid of any unwanted noises. They did a great job thoroughly professional the foreman Aaron was wonderful not only did he do a great job but he was a pleasure to have around the house. We just bought a house, and literally every single metal pier in the crawlspace was rusted out. Bay Are Underpinning came in and did an awesome job. Their inspector Aaron was super thorough in assessing the damage and explained everything in detail. Then, the repair crew of Eric, Jesus, and Andrew came in and knocked out the entire job in a day — a huge relief considering we had a ton of other work we need to get done before moving in. The work is not cheap, but they offer financing options and stand by their work, so I feel very good about the entire job.

Cody, Andrew, Francisco, David and their underpinning and concrete teams did exceptional work installing underpinnings to stabilize our house, then replacing the concrete patio that had to be removed to do the stabilization. Everyone on the teams were efficient, courteous, highly skilled, and thorough. I cannot recommend Bay Area Underpinning highly enough- through each step of the process, from the initial assessment and work quote, to the work and follow-up itself, the staff and crews of Bay Area Underpinning ensured that I was informed, reassured, and we’ll take care of. I also appreciated that the two installers Manny Erickson and Jesus Villagomez also communicated with me after they were done to reassure that they did a proper job installing the jacks. We recently had foundation work completed. The crew was on time every day and worked hard to keep a very dirty job and their traffic through the house to a minimum. The crew chief, Robert Busch, was amazing. Telling us what was planned for the day, any unforeseen problems, and giving us a recap of what was completed daily. We could not have had a better experience with his communication and hard work. Everyone was respectful and friendly. I also thought that the evaluation and estimate experience was positive. Jim communicated clearly and we never felt that work being suggested was unnecessary. He explained clearly and showed us pictures of what was going on under the house.Hope we never need them again, but would use them in a flash.

I will sleep much better tonight. I noticed a crack in my foundation and called Bay Area Underpinning. Hunter came out and walked the entire property and went underneath my house. He identified one other issue that I knew about besides the crack and told me they could fix that too. I had no idea you can call structural engineers for chimneys. His quote was fair to me and you can't beat the warranty and financing. Today Jesus Villagomes and Erick Baez came out and fixed the crack, they also looked around underneath and reassured me AGAIN that my house was in good shape. Because I caught it early they were able to fill the crack and then add a carbon fiber exposy seal. They also sealed the crack from the outside, even though they had already filled it in under the house. They were professional, answered all my questions, no matter how many and honestly were just pleasant to work with. They also explained my maintenance plan so I knew what to expect. I would absolutely recommend this entire team, to stay professionally kind in high heat is amazing. The Chimney job is pending and again, I'm ahead of the curve and not waiting for it to get worse.
