1. Call Center ***** – they took the call after 6:00 PM and were extremely professional. Guy on the phone (sorry I didn't write is name down), was so kind and emailed confirmation immediately. 2. Pre-Visit Confirmation ***** – Email, text and phone calls to confirm the time and prep me for the visit. Incredible. Nobody is doing this right these days and BAU absolutely has it nailed down. 3. Estimator ***** – I wish I could offer more than 5 stars. Joe Le Bel is the most professional tradesman I've met in a long time. Others are good too, but Joe is the gold standard. He sat with me to ask what I was concerned about and what was important to my family. Who does that???? Oh yeah, Joe did. So comforting. Joe was professional and respectful of our space. Was careful to be conscientious about where he placed his gear, tools and instruments. Super clean going under the house without tracking dirt and debris back into the house. (The inspectors from HomeGuard could definitely take notes on this!) Then, once Joe finished, he sat down with us and talked us through all the different aspects off his inspection. Several months ago, I noticed that doors in my house were no longer closing and latching. Specifically, my front door no longer locked completely. Once I got it fully locked I could no longer open my front door anymore, so I knew I had foundation issues. I called Bay Area Underpinning to come look at my foundation and do some measurements. We discovered that my front living room was sinking approximately one and a half to 2 inches. The crew, Lance Sladek, Jake Hall, and Eddie Shaw, crawled under my house and dug 30 to 40 foot holes in the ground to install piers that would lift my foundation. These gentlemen worked in very cramped dirty conditions in 90-100° weather. I was extremely happy with their work and their dedication to doing the job correctly. My after the foundation lift, my front door as well as several other doors in my home were able to close and latch again.
