We can re-level sunken concrete via a process known as ”slabjacking”. This involves injecting polyurethane foam under a slab in order to raise it back up again. It’s less expensive than replacing the concrete, and you can walk on the slab immediately after the repair has been completed.
Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement
Once in awhile, a homeowner will call us up and report signs of foundation settlement in their home. Upon inspection, we find that the foundation is sound and the problem is either deteriorated screw jacks or settled crawl space support posts. We repair this problem by using the existing pier locks and then just removing/replacing the screw jacks or posts. The floor can then be lifted again.
Here’s some good news. Most of the time foundations don’t need to be replaced. They can be repaired. However, every now and then it’s just not cost-effective to repair a foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
