We re-level concrete slabs using a minimally-invasive process known as ”slabjacking”. This involves injecting polyurethane foam under the slab in order to lift it back up again. It’s less expensive than replacing the concrete and the walkways can be used immediately after the repair procedure is complete.

BAU did a great job on my ADU that had a serious moisture problem that was causing the building to deteriorate. I couldn't remove the tile without replacing it all at a large expense so they did the whole job in a very cramped crawl space. I called in Bay Area Underpinning for foundation work. They were wonderful answering my many concerns, I received prompt return calls, the work was completed within an appropriate time frame, and the best thing he stayed with the estimate to the dollar. I loved the engineer, time frame, and minimal damage repair. I didn't know how my house was going to respond and even the marble and windows handled well. Unfortunately I didn't get the exact lift I wanted in the office even though they tried their hardest. My advice — call them when the problem first arises and the outcome and the house will lift with ease. I definitely recommend BAU. Because I live on a hill one pillar had to be covered – done. I also had a French drain installed to divert the water which was recommended. Thank you

The communication was stellar and the foreman made sure we understood each step as it was happening. The whole crew was professional, polite, punctual, and very neat.
