Thank you Bay Area Underpinning for saving the day! I was in a challenging and prolonged situation since going into contract with EagleLift for the stabilization/lift for my house. After a long permit process and continuously delayed start dates, I was informed that EagleLift had been acquired by Groundworks and I’d have to wait a few more month before any progress could happen. It was a deeply frustrating process but the EagleLift team was able to connect us with Bay Area Underpinning (another Groundworks company) who were able to take over and expedite the project. To my surprise, James T. from BAU reached out quickly and assigned a team to come to my house within a week! The team that ended up working on the house, specifically Ish, John and Abel were exceptional. They were diligent, knowledgable, friendly and deeply considerate. They are truly pros who knocked the project out in no time which was reassuring since I was nervous that this project was gonna stretch into the rainy season. My house feels so stable now (minimal cracks too) and the considerable slope is now practically nonexistent! I will sleep much better tonight. I noticed a crack in my foundation and called Bay Area Underpinning. Hunter came out and walked the entire property and went underneath my house. He identified one other issue that I knew about besides the crack and told me they could fix that too. I had no idea you can call structural engineers for chimneys. His quote was fair to me and you can't beat the warranty and financing. Today Jesus Villagomes and Erick Baez came out and fixed the crack, they also looked around underneath and reassured me AGAIN that my house was in good shape. Because I caught it early they were able to fill the crack and then add a carbon fiber exposy seal. They also sealed the crack from the outside, even though they had already filled it in under the house. They were professional, answered all my questions, no matter how many and honestly were just pleasant to work with. They also explained my maintenance plan so I knew what to expect. I would absolutely recommend this entire team, to stay professionally kind in high heat is amazing. The Chimney job is pending and again, I'm ahead of the curve and not waiting for it to get worse.

We had pretty extensive movement in our foundation, and Brandon was knowledgeable and took the time to carefully explain all of our options and how each would look. He and his crew were communicative and professional. Our biggest fear was that our new kitchen granite counters would crack in the lifting, but Brandon and his crew were extremely mindful of the situation, taking extra care and nothing cracked. We just bought a house, and literally every single metal pier in the crawlspace was rusted out. Bay Are Underpinning came in and did an awesome job. Their inspector Aaron was super thorough in assessing the damage and explained everything in detail. Then, the repair crew of Eric, Jesus, and Andrew came in and knocked out the entire job in a day — a huge relief considering we had a ton of other work we need to get done before moving in. The work is not cheap, but they offer financing options and stand by their work, so I feel very good about the entire job.

We recently had foundation work completed. The crew was on time every day and worked hard to keep a very dirty job and their traffic through the house to a minimum. The crew chief, Robert Busch, was amazing. Telling us what was planned for the day, any unforeseen problems, and giving us a recap of what was completed daily. We could not have had a better experience with his communication and hard work. Everyone was respectful and friendly. I also thought that the evaluation and estimate experience was positive. Jim communicated clearly and we never felt that work being suggested was unnecessary. He explained clearly and showed us pictures of what was going on under the house.Hope we never need them again, but would use them in a flash.
