We’ve been repairing foundations in Walnut Creek since 2005, and have successfully repaired over 2700 foundations in Northern California. We are well aware that foundation problems can be stressful for homeowners and that’s why we are committed to walking you through the foundation repair process step-by-step.  You’ll know the nature of your particular foundation problem, how we’re going to fix it, and why we’ll be using a particular solution.

Foundation Lifting

Signs your home’s foundation isn’t level include sloped floors and doors and windows that are hard to open/close. We can re-level the foundation using heavy duty steel push piers.

Helical Piers

Helical piers are a great choice when you need to build a deep foundation. They’re less expensive that concrete piers and they’re faster and easier to install.

Drilled Concrete Piers

If you live in a building situated on the side of a hill, you might notice problems like sloped floors, and doors and windows that don’t open/close properly. This happens because soil tends to  – over time – make its way downhill. When this happens, it can de-stabilize your foundation. We can re-stabilize it by drilling concrete piers deep down into the bedrock.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Concrete sidewalks and other types of walkways can sink due to problems with drainage, expansive soil, and invasive tree roots. We can raise sunken concrete slabs using a procedure known as slabjacking. This involves injecting a special polyurethane foam under the slab in order to lift it back up again. It’s less expensive than replacing the concrete, and you can walk on the slab as soon as the repair is done.

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

Sometimes, homeowners spot signs of settlement even though there’s nothing wrong with their foundation. This usually happens because either their screw jacks have deteriorated or the support posts in their crawl space have settled. We can fix this problem by using the existing pier locks and then just removing/replacing the posts or screw jacks. The floor can then be lifted up again.

Foundation Replacement

Fortunately, most foundations with problems don’t need to be replaced. They can be repaired. However, every now and then it’s just not cost-effective to repair a foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
