Foundation Repair Services in Vallejo
We have 15 years of experience repairing foundations in Vallejo, and have successfully completed over 2700 foundation repairs in Northern California. Foundation problems are stressful for homeowners and that’s why we’re committed to making sure you’re not kept in the dark about both your foundation’s particular problem and how we’re going to be solving it.
Signs of an un-level foundation include sloping floors, and doors and windows that are out of plumb. We can fix this using heavy duty steel push piers to re-level your home’s foundation.
Helical piers are shaped like corkscrews and a good choice when a project needs a deep foundation. They’re also both easier to install and less expensive than concrete piers.
Homes built on hillsides can – over time – experience soil erosion that eventually destabilizes the foundation. This happens because the soil that was once at the top of the hill under your foundation, eventually makes its way down the hill. We can use concrete piers – drilled deep down into the bedrock – to stabilize your home.
Uneven concrete sidewalks, or other types of concrete walkways, are both a safety and a liability issue. Concrete sinks due to problems with invasive tree roots, expansive soil, and drainage. We can lift sunken concrete back up again by injecting a special polyurethane foam under the slab. It’s less expensive than replacing the concrete and you can use the sidewalk (or other walkway) immediately after the repair is complete.
Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement
Sometimes a home will show signs of settlement even though there’s nothing wrong with the foundation. This is usually caused by deteriorated screw jacks or settled support posts in the crawl space. We can easily fix this problem by using the existing pier locks and then removing/replacing the posts or screw jacks. The floor can then be lifted again.
The good news is that most of the time a foundation can be repaired. However, every now and then it’s just not cost-effective to repair a foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
