Foundation Repair Services in Vacaville

We know foundation problems can make homeowners lose sleep. Foundation Lifting

Signs of an unlevel foundation include problems with doors and windows, and sloping floors. These problems may not be especially pronounced. However, that doesn’t mean they’re harmless. If your foundation problem isn’t taken care of in a timely manner, it will get worse. Whatever the cause of your unlevel foundation, we can lift it back up again using heavy duty steel push piers.

Helical Piers

Helical piers are essentially big corkscrews. They’re great for construction projects that need a deep foundation. They’re fast and easy to install, and less expensive than traditional concrete piers.

Drilled Concrete Piers

Structures built on the side of hills can experience, over time, foundation problems caused by soil erosion. This happens because soil at the top of the hill tends to – over time – make its way to the bottom of the hill. When this happens you’ll start to notice problems like sloped floors and doors and windows that stick or are hard to open. We can stabilize your foundation by drilling concrete piers deep down into the bedrock.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Expansive soil, invasive tree roots, and drainage problems cause soil movement under concrete sidewalks and other types of concrete walkways. When this happens, the concrete can sink and become un-level. This is, of course, both a safety and a liability issue.

Lifting sunken concrete is done via a minimally-invasive process known as ”slabjacking”. We inject a special polyurethane foam under the slab in order to lift it back up again. It’s fast, less expensive than replacing the sidewalk, and as soon as the repair is done, you can use the path.

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

Every now and then a homeowner will call us and report signs of foundation settlement like sloped floors and doors and windows that stick. When we do an inspection we find that their foundation is perfectly sound and that the problems are being caused by deteriorated screw jacks or settled crawl space support posts. We can fix this by using the existing pier locks and just removing/replacing the screw jacks or posts. The floor can then be raised again.

Foundation Replacement

The good news is that most of the time, a foundation can be repaired rather then replaced. However, sometimes there’s either too much damage or it’s simply not cost-effective to repair the foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacements.
