Foundation Lifting

Do things seem a little out of whack in your home? Maybe doors and windows suddenly seem hard to open and close? Maybe you’ve noticed that the floors are slightly sloped? If so, these are signs of an un-level foundation. We can use heavy duty steel push piers to lift the foundation up to where it was before.

Helical Piers

Helical piers are perfect for projects needing a deep foundation. They’re shaped like spiral staircases, and installation is quick and easy. They’re also less expensive than traditional concrete piers.

Drilled Concrete Piers

If your home is situated on a hill, you might notice settlement problems like sloping floors and doors and windows that stick or are difficult to open. This happens because the soil underneath your foundation at the top of the hill eventually, over time, will make its way downhill. This slow soil erosion can eventually cause foundation problems. We can fix this using concrete piers – drilled deep into the bedrock – in order to stabilize the foundation.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Over time, concrete sidewalks and other types of paths will sometimes sink due to soil movement going on underneath the slab. This has a variety of causes including problems with drainage, tree roots, and expansive soil. Of course, sunken concrete walkways are both a safety and a liability issue.  Therefore, you’ll want to fix them right away.

We can lift the concrete via a minimally-invasive procedure that involves injecting a special polyurethane foam under the slab.

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

Sometimes, homeowners notice signs of foundation settlement even though their foundation is sound. This happens – usually – either because the screw jacks have deteriorated or the support posts in your crawl space have settled. We can use the existing pier locks and then just remove/replace the screw jacks or posts. The floor can then be lifted up again.

Foundation Replacement

The good news is that most foundations can be repaired. However, there are times when it’s just not cost-effective to repair a foundation. In these cases, we replace the foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
