Foundation Repair

Are you experiencing difficulty opening windows and doors? Are your floors sloped? Noticed a few wall cracks maybe? If so, your home’s foundation may no longer be level. We can re-level it using heavy duty steel push piers.

Helical Piers

Helical piers – which look something like giant corkscrews – are a popular choice for construction projects requiring a deep foundation. They’re fast and easy to install, and less expensive than traditional concrete piers.

Drilled Concrete Piers

Homes built on hillsides can develop foundation problems related to something called soil creep.  Soil that was at the top of the hill – and under your foundation – gradually, over time, creeps down the hill. This can cause a structure’s foundation to destabilize. We can fix this problem by drilling concrete piers deep down into the bedrock.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Over time, concrete sidewalks, walkways, pool decks, and driveways, can become uneven from things like invasive tree roots, expansive soil, and drainage problems. Because uneven concrete is a trip hazard, it should be repaired right away.

We can lift sunken concrete using a minimally-invasive procedure called slabjacking. A special polyurethane foam is injected under the slab, and as the foam expands, it lifts the concrete. It’s less expensive than replacing the slab and you can walk on the newly-lifted concrete as soon as the repair is done.

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

Sometimes homeowners report signs of foundation settlement even though their foundation is perfectly sound. The problem is usually related to deteriorated screw jacks or sunken posts in the crawl space. We can often fix this problem simply by using the existing pier locks and removing and replacing the posts or screw jacks. The floor can then be lifted back up.

Foundation Replacement

Are you ready for some good news? Most foundations don’t need to be replaced. They can be repaired. But, there are times when it’s not cost-effective to repair a foundation. We do both full and partial foundation replacement.
