Foundation Repair Services in Dixon

Foundation problems can cause a lot of worry and stress. After all, the foundation is the most important part of any structure. That’s why we guide our customers step by step through their home’s foundation repair process.  We’ve successfully completed over 2700 foundation repairs in Northern California. So, you’ll be in good hands!

Foundation Repair

Have trouble opening doors and windows? Are your floors sloping? If so, your foundation may no longer be level. This usually happens when only one section of a foundation sinks. We level foundations by using heavy duty steel push piers to lift the foundation back up to its original position.

Helical Piers

Helical piers get their name because they look like giant screws. They’re fast and easy to install, and a popular choice when projects need a deep foundation. They’re also less expensive than traditional concrete piers.

Drilled Concrete Piers

If you live in a home built on a hillside, at some point you’re probably going to notice sloped floors, cracks in walls, floors, and ceilings, and windows and doors that are no longer properly aligned. This is because over time the soil under your home’s foundation makes it way downhill. We can fix this problem by installing concrete piers deep down into the bedrock in order to stabilize your home.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

Concrete walkways and sidewalks can also develop problems with settlement. This can be caused by tree roots, drainage problems, and expansive soil. Because uneven concrete can be a safety hazard, you should repair the problem as soon as possible.

We use a fast, minimally-invasive process that lifts sunken concrete sidewalks and walkways back into their original position. A special polyurethane foam is injected under the slab, and as the foam expands, it lifts it back into position. It’s costs less than replacing the slab and as soon as the repair is done, you can use the sidewalk or walkway.

Crawl Space Screw Jack Replacement

Sometimes you’ll notice signs of settlement like cracked walls, and doors and windows that stick even though your foundation is sound. This is usually caused by screw jacks that have gone bad or sunken posts in your crawl space. When this happens, we can often use the existing pier locks and simply remove/replace the posts or screw jacks. The floor can then be lifted back into position.

Foundation Replacement

Unfortunately, sometimes the damage to a foundation is so extensive that repairing it doesn’t make sense. There are also times when it’s simply not cost-effective to repair a foundation. When this happens, we can do either a full or partial foundation replacement.
