Our Services Meet Any Foundation Needs
Foundations fail for a variety of reasons. With each situation being unique, there is not a simple one-size-fits-all solution. This is why we meet with you at your property and spend the time needed to properly diagnose the problem, provide the best solution that fits your specific needs, and make sure you understand why. We can use different foundation repair methods to provide you with the best solution for your property. We can lift and re-level your house using any combination of:

Resistance/Push Piers | Helical Piers | Drilled Concrete Piers | Polyurethane Foam Injection | Screw Jack Replacement

Each of these methods are designed to be as minimally invasive as possible so you can continue to live as normal. If your foundation is severely aged or damaged, you may need to fully replace it.

Once the foundation issue is addressed, we can then re-level and stabilize the floors in your home. This complete solution will ensure your home will be stable and level for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is BAU licensed and insured?

Yes, we can provide insurance documentation, and you can look up our license #867128 on the Contractors State License Board website.

Does BAU work on foundations every day?

Yes, BAU specializes in lifting, leveling, stabilizing and rebuilding foundations. We primarily work on foundations every day. Other services we provide are concrete flatwork, concrete leveling and drainage.

Does your foundation underpinning solution come with a warranty?

Yes, we have a 25-year manufacturer warranty that is transferable between homeowners.

How long has your manufacturer been in business?

Our manufacturer (Groundworks Supply Chain) has been in business since 2017, and they provide the warranty.

Does BAU use galvanized products?

Yes, our manufacturer (Groundworks Supply Chain) galvanizes all steel products they send us. Pipe piles are galvanized inside and out, and brackets are hot dipped galvanized. We are one of the only manufacturers to do this and it’s VERY important so the piers do not rust and deteriorate over time.

Will interior and/or exterior cracks develop during lifting and stabilizing of my home?

Always expect some sort of cracking of your home. Cosmetic cracks may develop depending on when your home was built, how long your home has been settling, how much settlement your home is experiencing, how much our lifting goal is and how much previous work has been done to the home. We synchronize our lifting of the piers and jacks to minimize stress. Most of the cracks occur in the same places that exist from the settlement.

Does BAU sub-contract concrete work?

BAU will rarely sub-contract out concrete work. Our concrete workers are BAU employees who can perform all types of concrete services.

Does BAU have a pier depth clause?

BAU does not charge per foot in most areas of Northern California. Ask your estimator if there is a depth clause in your area.

Does BAU include Permit and Engineering cost in proposals?

YES, we include all permit and engineering costs in our proposals. We have in-house, Licensed Civil Engineers who calculate, design and stamp all plans and submit for permits.

Can BAU provide references?

Yes, BAU can provide references upon request. Most customers prefer to visit websites such as Yelp, BBB, CSLB, Home Advisor, Angies List, Neighborhood Nextdoor App or other foundation repair review platforms.
